Daily Cemetery photo -- and Wordless Wednesday (two for today!)

I think I accidentally posted the same photo twice yesterday .....  serves me right for being in a hurry to make up for lost time, huh?   So, here's two photos --- 

The first, from San Michele cemetery in Venice (modified a bit using Picnik) and the second, of the German Protestant Cemetery in Maine.

    I love the Maine photo. Wasn't it at one time part of your blog design? It was what first attracted me to your blog. ;)

    Thanks for the comments!! Amanda, yes, the second photo was my original blog header before I had the blog re-designed for me.

    Alexis -- the first photo was modified using Picnik. The original is just white marble, and the eyes on the figure looked like that --- all I did was give it an overlay to change how it looked. So, pretty simple to do. :)
