Daily cemetery photo -- Isabelle

I took this in Maine in 2008. The stone has remarkable detail, considering it dates back to 1854.

This is gorgeous! I've always meant to get into gravestone rubbing, but so far I haven't. I do love going to old cemeteries though!

I love looking at children's graves. They always make a cemetery more meaningful to me. And, I love seeing the headstones that their parents give them.

That's in amazingly good condition. I adore the stones in old cemeteries, some strange connection to all that passed.
