Celebrating turning two this month --- with some giveaways!!!!

    Officially, this blog doesn't turn two until the end of September, but I'm so happy to get to September (after enduring the summer, especially some of the super-hot weather that August brought with it), that I thought I'd do an early giveaway or two.   Maybe more.


So, to celebrate this nice long weekend, I thought I'd have a giveaway ----   3 books (the links will take you to more info on GoodReads):

Ravenclaw House party -- Giveaway!!!

In celebration of the newest Harry Potter movie, there are some house parties goin' on!    Our main host, representing Hufflepuff, is the lovely Velvet over at vvb32 reads --- please stop over and visit her blog to learn more (and to see her cool blog!).    And she's not the only one having a party --- Kulsuma's got Gryffindor covered, and Rebecca has Slytherin covered (check out their blogs, too --- lots of good things to see!!)

I decided I'd do a little giveaway to celebrate, so here it is:  a brand-new copy of The Sorcerer's Companion: A guide to the magical world of Harry Potter (updated and complete), a brand-new copy of The Magicians by Lev Grossman (which is a bit like Harry Potter, but a little darker) and some sweets, too.   I'll most likely throw in a bookmark or two, too.....

CSN Stores Giveaway !!!!!!!!

I'm not  quite up to my blogiversary yet (actually, that's in September), but I decided to do an early celebratory giveaway!!!!

I’ve been contacted by CSN Stores to give away a $40.00 gift card to one of their stores!!   You may have seen other blogs mention CSN Stores – they have 200+ stores, all on one website (so convenient!) and they have LOADS of cool items to choose from.  I've already picked out some nice table lamps  that I would love in my house.  Like this  lamp --- so cool, yes??     I could use some new lighting -- and something fun!  And speaking of fun... check this one out (yes, that pink fuzzy thing is a lamp!).   Did I already say how many different things they have to choose from?   It's like being a kid in a candy store!

Happy Summer giveaway!!!

In honor of the first day of Summer --- and also because I now have 69 followers (which is a very nice number, I must say), I have a little something to give away!

I have an extra copy of Wings --- and I put together a little necklace and earrings this last week.    The necklace has iridescent green beads (kind of like dragonfly wing-color), with a pewter disc with a snail on it.  The earrings are a little delicate, and have green freshwater pearl w/a green bead.

Giveaway !!!!

I realized the other day that I have 46 followers on this blog.  Now, that might not seem like a lot -- especially compared to some blogs who have 300+ followers, but I'm grateful that anyone reads what I'm writing about here.   :)

So, in honor of Spring, and the number 46 ( a nice, even number), I've decided to give away a few books!   No real rules necessary --- I don't need you to post about this on your blog, tweet, wave a banner in the air....   just maybe leave me a little comment to say hi.   Isn't that easy?    Today's Thursday, so I'll leave this open until Sunday and use a randomizer to pick the winner.
